Architectural Photography
Photograph an architectural object in two different ways. Each version has a distinct goal and requires different technical and creative approaches.
3.1 Objective-Documentary Shot
Create a technical and neutral photograph of the entire architectural structure.
- The image must present accurate colors, forms, and proportions
- Avoid distortion: Use a suitable focal length and correct perspective lines (e.g., tilt-shift lens or post-editing)
- The goal is to document the architecture in a clear and truthful way
3.2 Mood-Oriented Shot
Create a moodful or atmospheric image of the building or a section of it.
- Focus on light, shadows, details, and composition
- Time of day and weather conditions can be used creatively
- This image should evoke emotion or tell a visual story
